The SBA are pleased to announce our new Referee Advisor, Gemma Terrill.
Gemma is an enthusiastic referee who embarked on her officiating journey with VBRA Knox at the age of 14. She is currently a Level 3 Referee, Grade 3 Referee Advisor and Grade 3 Leagues Referee Coach.
Coming from Camberwelll District Basketball Association as their Referee Development Manager, Gemma holds an extensive list of accomplishments, including being awarded the u21 metropolitan referee of the year in 2012, proudly representing Basketball Victoria in numerous National Championships, excelling as both a referee and a referee commissioner as well as officiating numerous Big V Grand Final and NBL1/SEABL series.
Gemma’s commitment extends beyond the court, as she is dedicated to inspiring the love of basketball for all and ultimately wants to play a role in developing the next generation of referees. She possesses a profound understanding of the path to achieving elite-level officiating and aims to serve as a mentor for those striving to achieve their personal and professional goals.
