2025 vjbl uniforms

Dear SBA families

As you would be aware the SBA recently signed a 2-year partnership agreement with the world’s leading athletic brand 6th Man Basketball; home of Nike Basketball Teamwear, to produce our uniforms and related kit. The NBL1 and BIG V Youth League teams have been wearing the new 6th Man Basketball Nike uniform this season and we have had fantastic feedback from players and fans.

6th Man Basketball are locally made here in Melbourne, which have provided Sabres with quick turn-around times and superior customer service.

We are now rolling out the uniforms to the Junior Sabres Representative program over a 2-year period. We will start with compulsory playing kit uniform:

• Orange & Navy playing singlet (as the 6th Man Playing Singlets are not reversible)
• Training reversible singlet
• Orange and Navy shorts

The playing kit will incorporate the NEW mandatory VJBL logo. Additional Sabres uniform items will also be available for order, but over a 2 year timeline as we are conscious of the cost to families. We have worked extensively with 6th Man Basketball to reduce the cost of the new uniforms, the SBA will also be providing a 25% discount for the Sabres playing kit for the 2025 season only.

Uniform fittings will take place Monday 21st October 5pm – 8pm and Wednesday 23rd October 5pm – 8pm in the SBA social room to ensure all uniforms arrive before the start of the season in 2025.
