Evan Vallance is no stranger to the Sabre-Nation, and we are excited to announce his appointment as Assistant Director of coaching men and boys. Alongside Simon Giovannoni (Director of coaching men and boys) Evan will identify, nurture, and develop Sabres players and coaches to their full potential using the Sabres style of play. Evan will be working across all aspects of the boys/mens program from NBL1 to VJBL representative teams.
Evan comes with an abundance of Sabres knowledge, playing for Sandringham Sabres Big V Men’s team which played in four straight Grand Finals between 2001 – 2004, where he was crowned finals MVP of the Big V Championship winning team in 2002. Post playing career, Evan continued his Sabres journey in the coaching arena as a head coach for our U14.1 VC boys’ teams in 2018, 2019 and 2021, which eventually lead to his Assistant coach debut for the Southern Sabres in 2020 & 2021.
Please join us in welcoming Evan to the SBA.
