BEN AYRE IS BACK
The SBA is pleased to announce the return of point guard Ben Ayre for the 2025 NBL1 season, replacing Shea Ili.
Ben’s last season in the orange and blue coincided with a grand final berth and he’s back hoping to propel the Sabres one step further in 2025.
Ben has spent the 2024/25 season playing with the SEM Phoenix in the NBL, currently playing a back-up role and averaging 3 points and 1 assist per game.
In the 2023 charge towards the NBL1 finals, Ben led a supercharged Sabres attack averaging 23.9 ppg and 4 assists per game.
