The Victorian government has announced an easing of restrictions for community facilities which enables the SBA to re-open our doors on Wednesday 28th July, 7.00 pm for Senior domestic competitions only at this stage.
There is strict limitations of 100 people allowed in our venues at one time and we will be enforcing the following protocols to ensure we comply:
- 1 Coach Per Team
- 1 Scorer Per Team
- NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED
- Masks must be worn by all people over 12 years of age inside including players until teams commence there warmup on court
There will be no exemptions to spectators being permitted entry until restrictions are eased further by the State Government.
The SBA acknowledges the issues this creates with our junior domestic competitions, however it is the only way we can recommence within the new restrictions guidelines. Please contact your domestic club if you need any further clarification on these restrictions.
We understand this is a tough time for all, but we are glad to be back on court (with restrictions) and look forward to seeing all of our members return.
For Junior Domestic, we are awaiting confirmation from our external venues on the start of Junior Domestic.
An update on Junior Domestic, VJBL, BigV and NBL1 Programs and our junior clinics ( Bee ball & Cubs ) will be announced in the next few days.
